What is the Emmett Technique and How Does it Work?
Emmett technique is a fast and effective muscle release therapy to address muscular pain and discomfort.
The technique is very gentle and requires the therapist to apply light pressure at specific points on selected muscle groups. The points are held for a short duration, and activated in a set sequence to trigger the release of tension and pain held within the muscle. The client's body is then becomes restored to a state of balance.
Emmett can be used as a single treatment and/or combined with massage therapy to enhance treatment outcomes. Beneficial effects of Emmett are often felt immediately with the majority of clients reporting dramatic changes in pain levels, flexibility and range of movement before the end of the session.
The founder of this technique is Ross Emmett, a Remedial Massage Therapist from Australia. See Ross live in action demonstrating the Emmett Technique and it's astounding results in the videos below:

I just want to thank Daisy for the most unobtrusive and fast pain relief session I have had in years.
My lower back has been bothering me for 4-5 years and I have tried different therapies: Thai massage, Osteopathy, Sports massage, Kinesiology, etc and Daisy, within 4 sessions has corrected the coxis-hips area using the Emmett Technique and now my pain has disappeared. You are a star!!! Ana,Yoga Teacher, London.
